A befanged smile was never far from bearded cheeks, nor a boyish twinkle from his beryl stare. Hoary streaks sprinkle themselves throughout a midnight crown and splinter at the follicles nearing the bases of his ears and tail. The trials of passing his forty-seventh winter lay tributed across his aging features and raucous voice.Just as tall as the majority of his kin, with a seasoned, appetited bulkiness to him, Fihpo’ya Rilohtan appeared the robust sort; well-traveled as indicated by the scars that knick his skin, a marred right-leaning stride, and the callouses that harden the bellies of clawed fingers.Typically garbed in shades taupe, ivory, and navy—layered thick with cloth and leather alike. A rapier and its accompanying focus, a flask, a few satchels, and a count of ‘prized’ fishing lures hardly ever stray from a heavy belt.

No sleeve was woven well enough to hold the weight of the heart worn upon it. Known for persistent optimism, ardent sincerity, and a good amount of frisk; Fihpo’ya was a man of passion and enthusiasm. Every muscle that moved in his body did so with purpose, and every flick of an ear or a tail presented an alertness and curiosity that befitted a man half his age.His love for people stretched far, through the means of friendship, romance, and the search for family beyond blood. Many have shared their bedquarters, a pint, or a story with the elder Keeper, and it was a way of life he cared to upkeep even in recent years, though not as wantonly as one may think. Connection and affection were important things for him, and something he exhibits to every single soul he meets.Roaming and free-spirited as he was, the man was not without his limits. It was a rare occurrence that someone raise hackles and lower ears, but disregard of self-respect and attentiveness for both himself and others may strike a nerve; usually based in concern or a feeling of being taken as a joke.Humorous as he may be, he was no mere fortune cookie.

Fihpo’ya was born to a large, nontraditional Keeper household amongst the silverspoon estates of Old Sharlayan. The young miqo’te was reared to be pedantic and inquisitive, and was a master at being both during his prodigious strides in academic learning. With a talent in eclectic aetherology, however, came a skeptical mind and a critical tongue, engendering verbal altercations between him, his professors, and his parents when he questioned reason and authority.Continuous dissension would later make the boy a stowaway aboard a Limsan cargo ship, and from there an independent rover forced to make his own way. Years of strife and hardship chased the wain, thoroughly beating out his ignorance and egotism during his young adulthood.His unpretty survival has let him experience many things, such as pride and happiness in the man he has become. From working on Limsan’s gangways and fishing boats, to making a career out of his aetheric abilities with a foil and focus in-hand since a skirmish to Gyr Abania, Rilohtan has done wonders for himself that he grasps onto with every breath he takes.Vagrancy, grief, and a life-altering injury are trying aspects that still found their spot in his life up to now, long after the green had chipped away. In their place; a love for the field and the sea alike, and promise that he will never stop doing what he loves.

A pub owned by a Gyr Abanian veteran and managed by a young miqo'te bard. Beyond the warm and welcoming hearth of the bar, contracts and work were offered by the proprietor for those willing to put in the effort. Good timing and close friendship granted Fihpo'ya a spot amongst the company of auxiliaries for a major duration of their operation.

A fishing company whose vessels dock around La Noscea, including Limsa Lominsa proper—bringing in vast catches from the Rhotano Sea to fulfill quotas and feed hungry mouths alike.The crew currently operates on the vessel dubbed 'The Lodestar', whose name comes from its act as a guiding ship for smaller vessels and leading numbers of caught supply.

Every morning that has began with this Seeker has been one that Fihpo'ya would describe as an 'unfathomably beautiful sunrise'. After meeting in a tavern one day, Fihpo'ya and X'aloh began their relationship as tutor and pupil; something that quickly escalated into feelings of passion and deeply rooted affection.Separate as they are during the hours of their respective careers—the time spent together is teeming with flames of adoration and personality.

Fulfilling bounties is much more fun when you have a Gyr Abanian monk at your side. Half his age and with twice as much audacity, A'nulo has been a compatriot of Fihpo'ya for several winters, where they have both kicked arse and gotten their arses kicked. No amount of failure or injury will stop these two men from latching onto the opportunity for high-octane adventure, gil, and causing double the trouble.

This firecracker had been met with the elder keeper's chagrin when they first spokedue to her explosive nature—but quickly did their relationship blossom beyond scoldings.
